Swine flu symptoms?

Partner has maybe had swine flu for 12 days, I have no symptoms, may I be contagious without showing symptoms?

• He went to docs last week, explained all symptoms (thought maybe reaction to some tablets at first as took Tramadol for about 3 days before, didn't even consider swine flu) and gave stool sample. The doctor didn't mention swine flu at the time. Today he was going to go for another appointment but someone at my work pointed out he has more than 3 of the flu symptoms and shouldn't go to the GP in case spreading it. The doctor rang and left a message stating that if cough and stomach upset are being experienced (they are and have been the whole time) he should get someone to pick up Tamiflu. How have I (and out 6 year old son) got away with it if it is swine flu? Might we have it without symptoms and be carrying it and possibly infecting people around us?

  Yeah some people can carry it or have it so mildly it goes un-noticed. Have you ever had that feeling 'as if you are about to get a cold' that has maybe dragged on a bit longer than usual without actually developing into one? Then you could be carrying it.
