H1N1 pandemic spreading too fast to count: WHO http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090716/ts_nm/us_flu_who_2 "The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Thursday that the H1N1 flu pandemic was the fastest-moving pandemic ever and that it was now pointless to count every case." "Flu experts say at least a million people are infected in the United States alone, and the WHO says the pandemic is unstoppable."

Answer:
You can order Tamiflu online, but it is illegal. For legal ways to help avoid it, you can buy N95 or N100 masks which are pretty cheap. They cannot filter out the virus itself, but the virus is carried by larger particles which the masks can help filter out. You can also keep hand sanitizer with you at all times and use it regularly. Sambucol is a non-prescription health suppliment you can buy at most drug stores. It is elderberry extract which has been proven to kill many types of influenza. It's not the virus that is killing it's victims though. It's the cytokine storm. The body tries too hard to fight the virus and ends up attacking itself. If you do end up getting a severe strain, you can use nicotene to slow a cytokine storm. I don't recommend taking up smoking, but getting nicotene into your system somehow may be beneficial if you end up infected.

....? Nothing just like everyone else. Not a single person in my COUNTY has gotten it. It's not even that big of a deal, it's just a different strain of flu. It could only really hurt you if you're an infant or if you're super old and sick already. Even then you can get treatment. 99% of those medical organizations have already admitted months ago that they exaggerated.

there have been 5 pandemics since 1900 that have been stopped - and the 2009 outbreak hasnt ended yet - kevin --- ive never had a flu shot and rarely get the flu - keep the immune system strong with antioxidants - use proper sanitary measures - even if you get the flu its usually only dangerous to certain sections of the population - maybe you will develope immunity by exposure - just as good or better chance of that than developing it from vaccine

What can I do to guard against a virus? Stay healthy? Not breathe? I know, I'll pray that God keeps me in His will, whatever that is, and that I glorify His name, even from a hospital bed if that's His will. Actually, I'd be more concerned for my 84 year old mother-in-law, but she got over that cold/pneumonia last month pretty well.

There is no pandemic and never was. It was all hype. You have to stop believing everything the media says. More people die from the regular flu than the H1N1.

Nothing. It's the flu. It's not swine flu. It's Novel H1N1 flu. And it's just the flu.
