How Long does the stomach ache after the stomach flu last?

5 year old with headache, stomach ache, fever - it IS NOT the flu!?

• I have a 5 year old who has complained of a very bad stomachache in the center of his stomache head ache, and a low to moderate fever. He often has stomache aches always in the same area, we had him to the doctor a few weeks ago and was checked for appendicitis. He continue to complain of stomache aches and often has head aches in the front of his head above the eyebrows. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation and what the outcome was. This has been going on for around 4 months not continuously but off and on. Any advice or ideas? These are the only symptoms. Thanks!

  I don't know for sure, and I'm only a sixteen year old girl so I'm not very experienced in this sort of thing. Maybe he's having migraines or something? Or a strange reaction to something he eats? Those two things may explain his headache and stomach ache, but I'm not very medically inclined so I don't know... Tea may help his stomach ache, and staying away from bright lights and louds noises always helps me. Sorry that this is the extent of my abilities to help you in this situation. Maybe you can take him to another doctor and have him examined. Again, I'm sorry. --Meaghan
