How did the Spanish Flu start?

If you have had swine flu how did it start?

  • think i may be getting swine flu, can anyone tell me how it starts off and then how it progresses and how long it lasts?

    I'm just getting over swine flu - I had it for about 2 weeks. Basically I started out with a very sore throat but otherwise felt fine and then after a couple of days it really really hit me. It was the worst flu I have EVER, EVER had! I was physically unable to do anything for myself. My husband had to go to work so I had to get my dad to look after me (lol). I'm 28 and I haven't had someone look after me like that since I was a kid - I couldn't even make myself a hot drink I felt so ill. I had an extremely bad chesty cough and couldn't really lie down because I would choke (even though all I wanted to do was sleep). Now I'm pretty much over it except for a bit of a lingering cough. I went for my first walk this morning since I go sick and felt like I couldn't breathe, but I guess it will get better.

I had It and I'm being honest. It's just like normal flu. It can even feel like a cold. For the very few people who died from swine flu, they either didnt die from it, or the had undenying health problems. So Honestly, If you've flu, then it might be swine flu. x

Well, it started with fever and headache. But if you take care of it properly it won't last long and will get off soon.

I started at school. I just got really tired and started to fall asleep and my whole entire body hurt, i also had a fever. Just like the normal flu but your friends oink at you..
