How come it takes 1-2 weeks for bowel movements to turn back to normal after habing the stomach flu?
-
i know the stomach flu and its symptoms and the virus itself usually last about three days, but it says after it goes away, it may take 1-2 weeks for bowel movements to become normal again...i was just wondering what the reason on this is..

Answer:
being sick takes a lot out of you so even though you may be feeling better after a couple of days the virus is still with you for up to a week to a week and a half later - thats why it takes you a while to get back to normal
