Getting rid of cold sore scabs?

My partner keeps getting these bite looking red bumps, slowly going into infections and scabs?

  • For awhile now he has been getting lots of red bumps, we thought it was nothing, but this is the 3rd time it has come back when he gets off antibiotics, it is obviously turning into a infection all the time and we went to the doctor, but they said they dont know till we find out what it is, which is stupid cause we dont have degree in being a doctor lol. So I thought it be good to post it on here. We really want some advice, cause it is getting serious, I have uploaded some photos on flickr and we put link. Thank you for your help be greatful http://www.flickr.com/photos/60437274@N07/5607028443/ Should be 8 photos on flickr for you to look at thank you

  • Answer:

Depending on where the bumps are and what he feels from them (pain, itchy?) it could be many different things. If the bumps are not causing much reaction I would say they are probably bites from bed bugs or spider bites. Either option would explain why they keep coming back. The fact that they are scabbing up is just his body's attempt to "heal" from the wound. If this has been a prolonged issue with little other side effects, I don't think it is anything serious. If the bites or bumps were indications of something more serious he would get a high fever (indication of infection) or have discharge or major discomfort in areas (indication of STD). On a side note, has he had chicken pox before?
