How do you get rid of the common cold in only a day?

  • School is starting Thursday. And i've had the cold for a couple of weeks. Is there any quick remedies that aren't medecations? Thanks

    Add fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon honey with hot water and drink it while its still warm. Common cold don't usually last for two weeks. Are you sure its a cold and not an allergy? If I were you, I'd check it out with the doctor. Good Luck

1-you need to keep hydrated so drink lots of fluids especially orange juice-its packed with vitamin C. 2-before you go to bed take NYQUILL and during the day take DAYQUILL. 3-get lots and lots of rest. 4-also if you take a steamed filled shower it will open up your pores so you'll be feeling better right when you get out. hope i helped! feel better!

When I worked as an anesthesia technician one of the doctors who used to be in family practice told me one day, and I did try it, and it did work. Drink a lot of water, and urinate a lot. He said everytime he saw me he wanted me to be drinking water or peeing. I drank well over a gallon of water that day.

Try rinsing your mouth (but don't swallow) with 3% hydrogen peroxide every hour (you can get that at the drug store, over the counter); drink some distilled white vinegar with a little water every few hours; drink a mix of fresh lemon juice with honey. Hope you feel better soon!

lots of liquids, warm, teas with lemon, green tea. eat light things, crackers toast, drink chicken broth. things like that. stay in bed. stay away from air conditioning. good luck. i wish you get well soon. hope school is pleasant that thursday.
