How do u know if u have the flu the day before?

• I've heard that u feel fine then just terrible. So I have been by a kid with flu not to much but I'm very healthy. I've stayed away and these past two days I have been feeling drainage, loss of appetite not to serious but I usually eat alot and these past 2 days not so much. Then I have a slight headache which I believe is from playing video games I dark close to screen. Today I have had a regular lunch been using the bathroom normal then. Had a taco lost appetite and have a small stomach ache. I'm a little cold but it's winter and my house I cold. And overall I feel decent beside my slight headache slight cough slight stomach ache and I have heard that the flu just hits u out of nowhere and I have felt like this for 2 days. It might be a yearly sinus infection also I have not ran a fever or anything I just don't feel to my best. I have a little cough also no sore throat. My friend said that the flu came on within 2 hours felt fine the days before and everything. Also a side note o don't were proper clothing for winter dumb I know. But I hate the flu and can u tell me what's going on. My family has had a bug not vomiting but a small cold but it made my mother Hungry. I kind of have a paranoia of the flu and puking.
