How common are stomach bugs?

Does drinking alcohol reduce your chances of getting stomach bugs?

  • Like food posioning or other stomach like flu's. Anyone know, this is a serious question, I am not a drunk haha, just wondering..

That is a good question. Sounds like a reasonable assumption to me. I will try it for a few days and let you know if I get any bad bugs.

I'm no doctor but I can't see how a bit of alcohol could possibly be better at killing anything than stomach acid.

No, it does not. But gargling with some serious alcohol might kill the bugs in the mouth and tonsils.

Ummm...no. Drinking alcohol actually reduces your immunity. If you drank everclear it might clean out your insides real good but it won't keep you from getting sick. I think it would kill bugs on your skin before it did in your stomach.
