ie mosquito bites an infected person and then pokes its blood covered proboscis into another person.

Answer:
First, AIDS isn't transferred by blood to blood contact, the HIV virus is. The HIV virus, over time, causes AIDS. Second, HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, meaning only humans carry it. It can't survive in other species including mosquitoes.

yes! that's how lots of people get it! - it's why you have to get injections before you go to some countries! because you can get all sorts of things from mosquito bites! sorry that's malaria! no they cant carry HIV or AIDS!! - my bad! but they do carry lots of other nastys tho! like hepatitis.
umm yes it can do, but a very rare chance of it. there is a small passability. but some people dont realise this. but htey have to bite you first. but i think if a mosquito bites you and gets aids i tihnk it would die very quickly due to it taking over its cells too quick

Medical reports have negated that. Mosquitos do not carry aids virus.

NO WAY HIV is HUMAN Immunodeficiency Virus and NEEDS to be in a HUMAN to survive! outside a human t cell the virus can survive only a few hours (in blood) in acid or air it dies within 15 seconds! get your basic facts right does your school not have HIV education! this is 10-11 year old basic Sexual health ! the ignorance of some people to an important issue is amazing. most people who get HIV are from boy-girl sex especially in the 15-24 year old group who catch it the most. its the person who has just caught HIV who is the most infectious and before they test HIV+.. us barrier protection when having sex and ignore insects unless they annoy you!
sounds feasible to me my friend

No, Mosquitoes Digest the Virus that Causes AIDS and also Mosquitoes Do Not Ingest Enough HIV Particles to Transmit AIDS by Contamination
they can spread malaria and other diseases but havent heard of HIV from mosquitoes
babe
no alot of medical studies have proof this statement to be wrong. in anyway HIV needs a host to survive, if in contact with air for too long, it dies of. the biggest thing to worry about, when it comes to mosquitoes = malaria

No Mosquitos can't spread HIV. The virus is easily killed - it doesn't have a strong structure like some viruses (e.g. Norovirus) and it is killed straight away within the Mosquito.
