What Is Swine Flu?

What's the big deal about swine flu?

  • i get it, there's no vaccine. But for the regular seasonal flu, not everyone takes a vaccine for that either and they're able to fight the flu off. The 5 year old boy in mexico and had swine flu and was okay. is this just being blown out of proportion? i'm sure if you zeroed in on every type of flu people had across the world, then you'd find a lot of people who had the regular seasonal flu and I'm sure someone would create a panic. I just don't see why people are worried about this. Also, the seasonal flu kills. the swine flu has killed a confirmed 7 people as I understand it so far.

  • Answer:

Its a big deal because it can be spread very very easily through person to person. If some elderly or young people get the flu they could die because their bodies aren't as strong as an adult. I personally thibk they are making it a big deal, but it could possibly kill people, even if its one they can save a life by making them aware of this flu and how its spread.
