Whats the difference between Swine Flu and the Regular Flu ?

It is the same virus but with a different strain, 2 parts of a type of pig flu, 1 type of bird flu and 1 type of human flu, and that all combine make it hard for out body to fight because our immune system has never deal with something like that.

Nothing at all, they are both contracted the same and are both treated the same way. The media have jumped upon it to get there ratings and sell papers. Ordinary influenza kills thousands every year.

They're basically the same. The main difference is that the swine flu came from pigs.

It's just a different strain that they/we were not ready for. That's why getting a flu shot is not needed (it's not flu season) Flu shots are about 100 different "predicted" and current strains to help u combat whatever comes. I think

what they're calling "swine flu" isn't purely swine flu. it's a hybrid of swine flu, bird flu, and human flu... & it can kill you

Not much - it's just 'new', a mutation of previous flu virus and because it's new, people don't have any immunity, yet. This is the trouble with viruses, they change.
