What is a quick cold sore healing medicine or remedy?

I have cold from months, taken medicine as per Doctor advice but still I am suffering from cold, Any remedy ?

I have tried several medicine but once I discontinued taking medicine, again I have to suffer from cold. Please suggest any remedy.
