With this massive outbreak of bird flu in the uk will you be worried about having turkey on xmas day?

Not really because we got ours a while back from a friend who has turkeys and chickens as a hobby Plus if cooked right no turkey with bird flu is harmful to humans

Call me cynical, but it's very conveniently timed this out-break isn't it? Poor little rich farmers, my heart bleeds!

I'm more worried about people panic buying unneccesarily.

personally no im gonna die one day and i like turkey at christmas so there is as much chace of that killing me as being hit by a bus !!!! look at all the fitness fanatics they still die and some of them die of a heartattack when they are in theie 20s /30s (very young )so where did their no smoking no drinking and lots of exercise get them ???

no. because cooking kills the bacteria anyway.

There is plenty of the frozen turkey in the shops and we can always import the bird like we import almost every other thing into this country ,I won't be worried about having it for my Christmas dinner as we are going to a nice restaurant I'm sure they'll have something for us to eat.
