Can someone help with Quadratic Graphs please?

Chronic Staph infection in my ankle, ALL HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!!!!!!! I can't be alone :(?

  • I had a ankle surgery brostrom procedure done March of 2011 due to ankle damage I incurred as a kid. It was the installation of two fiber wires that ran from one bone anchor to another. About 8 weeks after surgery I had a sudden increase in pain. My original surgeon didn't believe me, blew me off. Another 4 weeks pass and then on June 1st of 2011, the incision area starts dripping out green puss. I went to the ER because my original surgeon told me that the green stuff were internal stitches finally dissolving and refused to give me an appointment, no joke. So at the ER, they kept me a few days, after culters came back positive for Staph. It was negative for MR-SA, just staph and traces of E.Coli. Upon xrays and an MRI the ER Doctors found out that those fiber wires and snapped, so as I was walking, these fiber wires were chewing up my ankle from the inside out for approximately 4 weeks. Needless to say I fired the original surgeon. I now have one the best recommended orthopedic surgeons in this half of my state, and teaching and practicing infectious disease doctor (who also is highly recommended), and one of the better plastic surgeons (who specializes in skin/wound corrections and treatment). Since June 1st of 2011, I have had 3 pic lines and IV antibiotics. With the antibiotics I began having allergic reactions to three antibiotics I had never had a problem with before and even developed with drug fever with two of them, again antibiotics I had never had a problem with before. I have had a total of 13 surgeries, seven of them have been debreedments and drainages. The first two were removal of bone anchors and broken fiber-wires. two of them were installation of wound-vacs and two were the installation of quite a few drainage tubes in many many places. The next surgeries Im facing are skin and muscle graphs :( In one of the surgeries, there was a point that my current surgeon had to de-breed or cut away severely infected tissue so deep that I now have a sonovial fluid leak or joint fluid leak in that ankle. It has had that leak now for about 5 months and that too does not heal. I have already spent a total of three months in the hospital. This infection, since it started has cleared up to the point of getting cleared from all my doctors 3 times. And withing a week of getting cleared each time, the staph/ E.Coli infection has returned and worse, even though my antibiotics have been continual. I feel like I am living a nightmare. Just a side note, I have experience in wound care and infection prevention with being a CNA for approximately 6 years of my adult life. I am hoping someone somewhere has had been through this on some level and is reading this. Or maybe a Doctor out there who has knowledge of reoccurring staph infections and has some advice to offer. Im 30 years old, Im not Obese, and have no other health issues. Before this I was perfectly healthy, was active everyday, ate halfway descent, without any heart, lung, chronic disease, blood sugar, immune system (that I know of) skeletal, cancer, psychological problems, nothing, I WAS BORINGLY HEALTHY!!! Till this. I went and got second and third opinions from local, but very big name hospitals and teaching hospitals, just to get another set of eyes on my case. I was told by all other facilities that I have the best Doctors on the case, that these other facilities don't have the expertise for the complications of my case, and to go back to my surgeons/doctors. Im looking for someone who has been through this, or a support group, any other doctors opinions (based on what info I have put together here, but feel free to ask any questions at all), anyone who had their equipment that has failed, or a Doctor in the Wisconsin area that has been through this. ANY HELP AT ALL IN MY CASE, I'M PLEADING FOR ANY HELP!!!! Suggestions in non conventional treatments, but please no sales pitches for "cure-alls". I am a single mom of 5 kids and have lost everything with being fired due to extended hospital stays due to this chronic infection. I need to be back on my feet for my kids. I need to be back at work before I lose my home. I just pray I get my life back. I have been fighting this infection for over 8 months now. I am asking the world for anything information wise that it has to offer. Please help :'(

  • Answer:

I had issues with wounds not healing and fish oil changed my life. It sounds lame but its true. Its sad and laughable at how simple it is. It makes me angry that it isn't common knowledge. Wound healing on the exterior of our bodies or in the interior rely on, and cannot heal without Omega 3 fish oil. If your body is low in Omega 3 you will have wounds that heal very slowly and are considered infections. The only way to get this substance is to consume it. Your body does not create omega 3 oil. Fish oil is luckily easy to get from a Safeway, most supermarkets and local vitamin shops. Eating tuna in oil also assists the situation. Don't fear taking too much, no-one has died from eating to much Fish Oil. You want the answer to wound healing, everything I have read and experienced says this is it. Please take a Qty of - 8 soft gel capsules 8000 mg. total of Omega 3 Fish oil each day, for 7 days. You will see clear improvements in your healing situation within 24 hours. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking this advice. Truth sometimes is not normal, but its still the Truth.
