How long is a throat infection contagious?
-
My throat started hurting a week ago today, then I went to the doctor and he told me I had a throat infection. I feel SO much better. I haven't had a fever in 5 days, no headaches or body aches, BUT my throat is still a little sore on and off. Am I still contagious? I was never on antibiotics

Answer:
No, you are no longer contagious. People are contagious in the first few days of the sickness, maybe even before the symptoms arrive. That's why sickness spread so quickly.
