My throat hurts and it feels hot?

My throat feels swollen and it hurts, but no fever? Pollen or strep?

  • Okay, so I've never been allergic to pollen before, but this is the big pollen week so idk. But my throat really hurts to swallow and talk. It's not drainage in my throat because my throat is really dry. I've been drinking a lot of water but it hasn't done anything. I have a huge audition today for a musical in Atlanta, so if I have some terrible virus, let me know. Idk if it's the pollen, strep, if I need to get my tonsils removed... I just don't know. But I don't have a fever and it's been going on for two days. Thanks!!!

  • Answer:

You can be allergic to more than just the pollen. Get yourself to a doctor and get checked out as only someone who can actually see your throat and ask pertinent questions can help you. I pray you feel better soon.
