What exactly do beta-blockers do?
-
I have Peripartum Cardiomyopathy and I am taking Coreg. I understand that it is a beta-blocker and I've tried to do research on what exactly it does for me but I just don't understand. Is there anyone who can, for lack of a better term, dumb it down for me? Thanks y'all =)

Answer:
Beta blockers block the adrenaline your body produces to lower your heart rate and blood pressure.
