Is it possible to be allergic to another person?

Would it be possible to transfer a heart to another person?

• I know it's possible, but there was this Facebook status chain message about a little girl having heart failure and her dad gave up his heart (and died) to save her. I usually don't believe or read these stuff, but this one caught my attention, and made me a bit curious. So, aside from the specific stuff like common blood type or other general requirements for it, I'm wondering would it be possible for people to do it? Not physically, it's hard to word what I'm trying to ask, but would it be allowed for one person to sacrifice their selves to save another person? Allowed as in, even with consent from one person to give their heart and die to a loved one, would the doctors legally have permission to do so? I was just wondering. x3 It's just a curiosity, so no mean posts please. xP

  A person can give permission for a certain person to have their heart But the person has to meet the criteria for legal death. They can't kill him to get it. And yes they do do pediatric transplants when needed and a heart is available.
