Should I be concerned re very low triglycerides?
-
I take 10 mg statin every other day. My cholesterol is 199, HDL 66, and triglycerides not quite 37! ???

Answer:
If your triglycerides levels are quite 37 you don't need to worry. You're within a normal range. The aim is to keep triglycerides 150 mg/dl and less. You have achieved this. Keep in mind that many thing may influence your triglycerides levels, especially diet. If you are under statin's treatment and also following low fat diet, then for sure your triglycerides are low.
