What are the cons of a cochlear implant?

In the ear cochlear implant?

  • All of the cochlear implant speech processors currently have four to six hearing programs. I do not think that this is necessary (as a very experienced cochlear implant user), because a normal hearing person only has one hearing program. Can the cochlear implant companies drop the four to six hearing programs to one hearing program.... and that'll make the cochlear implant sound processor four to six times smaller! With this accomplished, this allows a 100 percent invisible in the ear cochlear implant sound processor. Can the cochlear implant companies release a completely in the ear canal cochlear implant sound processor soon?

  • Answer:

The product is available for person with individual requirement, BUT if anyone wants to adjustment is mandatory as we are exposed to different sound environment. Certain sounds can wreck the auditory nerve. Sounds that are louder than 85 dB can cause permanent hearing loss. The hearing system can be injured not only by a loud blast or explosion but also by prolonged exposure to high noise level. Even if ear canal cochlear implant sound processor is released, it will be a failure, keeping our noisy planet in view, and non adjustment of volume + distance. Not a substitute as per State of Art of GOD, as we humans have limited knowledge and know how. Nice question! G/Luck.
