Heart mur mur and surgery? for infant?

hi i wanted to know if anyone went through having a new born with a heart mur mur? my daughter had it when she was 4 months old we took her back when she was 7 months old and the doctor was hoping it would be gone but it wasnt. so he said bring her back when shes 1 years old. she will be 1 next month. and everytime i take her to her doctor they'll still here it and her heart doctor even told us if she still has it were going to have to talk surgery. im very worried and scared im so afraid to loose my baby girl. any advice or if u went through this with someone u know let me know plz thank you.

Actually, if she's healthy she could have an awesome recovery. From what I understand, they usually do surgery around 3 yrs. I have a cousin who's little boy had this surgery 2 mths ago. to fix the murmur, at 7 mths. old. He had a text book recovery even though he suffers from congenital fiber-type disproportion (a genetic disease similar to a type of distrophy). He had about 6 weeks recovery in the hospital. With the advances of today, there should be no worries about losing her. My sister also has lived with this and she's 37 and never really has had any problems.
