Why does my heart beat fast at night?

Last night i could not sleep and my heart beat was very fast and high?

• I did not sleep all night. When I would move positions my heart rate would sky rocket. It was loud hard thumps. My stomach hurt too. I also felt like I had to throw up. Anyone know what is going on?

  You were having an anxiety attack. That's normal if you're under stress and sometimes even if you aren't it happens. If your heart keeps beating fast and irregular for more than a day or two you need to see a doctor though because continuous irregular heartbeat can allow extra blood to pool at the bottom of your heart and cause a stroke so just keep an eye on it.
