Why have I had sudden heart rate increase?

Why does my heart rate increase with little effort?

  • I notice that when I bend down or just do something very little my heart rate will increase a lot. I thought it might just be in my head so I used a pulse ox finger sensor and it is true. Usually my heart rate will be in the 70's and the I bend over and it will go to 110 quickly. I am overweight, but what does it say about my heart? Could it be a sign of heart damage or another condition?

    I have this same problem, and I am not overweight, the doctor told me this is a common symptom of deppression/anxiety, I dont know if your heart races for anything else like a slamming door, or something falling of the shelf, or even someone yelling, or talking loud will cause it for me!

The short answer is... your overweight and out of shape and your heart has to work harder just to move,stand,bend over and you are grunting to do so cause its painful and compressing all that fat to bend your torso.You need to consult a Doctor and a nutritionist.
