How to match a drawn Chinese character to a database of stroke animations?

During an amniocentesis procedure blood was drawn. Could this cause a hemorrhagic stroke?

  • My daughter was only 29 when she had a stroke. She is very healthy, excercises daily and does not smoke and eats healthily, always organic. She is a tiny size, like 0 or 2. She wonders why this happened to her. I had heard that an injury while in the womb could be a cause for someone who has a stroke under the age of 30. She has a good outcome, no impairment but if it is possible that the procedure was the cause, I think it important to share.

  • Answer:

Amniocentesis (also referred to as amniotic fluid test or AFT), is a medical procedure used in prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities and fetal infections, in which a small amount of amniotic fluid, which contains fetal tissues, is extracted from the amnion or amniotic sac surrounding a developing fetus, and the fetal DNA is examined for genetic abnormalities. Risks are minimal, but may include: * Infection or injury to the baby * Miscarriage * Leaking of amniotic fluid * Vaginal bleeding
