After walking up stairs, my blood pressure spikes abit, from regular 125 to 135-140...my question is is this normal? Is it normal that blood pressure rises while walking, playing sports, excercise etc and can it be harmful? And how can one determine its own level of fitness regarding blood pressure and bpm? thanx

Answer:
Yes it is normal. Any increase in activity can raise your blood pressure. And it doesn't raise yours very much. That is a good thing. Take care
