Answer:
I had 3 stents placed into my heart about 1 year ago, since than I was told that I have heart murmur and Tr .and I started to have skipping beat and chest pain every now and then, especially at nigh after I lie down the bed and watch TV, I check with my Cardiologist , he just keep saying according to the discharge report, my heart is all right, so just take the Plavix, aspirin and all your medicine. I am telling you this because I am very frustrated to find a good Cardiologist and a lots of time they don't have the same feeling as you, I decided to change my cardiology until I find a right Cardiologist that really going to look into your problem and try to find the root of the problem. No body know exactly what's going on until a real caring doctor do the test and examination So look for a responsible doctor and find out what's the problem.

This is called a pre-ventricular contraction. There isn't actually a skipped beat, but one that is too early. There may also be tachycardia, which is an accelerated heartbeat. A PVC usually is harmless in 90% of people, and nobody really knows what causes it, or if there is more than one cause. They are not associated with an increased risk of heart disease. HOWEVER, this applies to people with no prior history of heart disease, NOT YOU!!. I believe this is utterly abnormal for you and that unless your cardiologist warned you that this would happen, you need to get off Answers NOW and call your cardiologist RIGHT NOW, no matter what the time is where you live. I have PVCs all the time and am not worried, but I've never had a heart attack. GO NOW!!!

Huh? Skipping a beat? It has nothing to do with your condition. You have got the hots for that nurse you saw at the hospital. She was a knocker, wasn't she? You're skipping a beat anytime you see her/talk to her/think about her. Now, stop this fantasizing. ---------- Seriously, I would expect your doc to keep you well fed with expectations of abnormal behaviour of your heart. If it is cause for concern, I will get on the blower right away if I were you. My friends who have had similar situation (stents) report that they had the same problem. That does not mean yours will be the same as theirs. Check it out. Make sure.

Considering your recent history, I would call your cardiologist. After a heart attack, sometimes, it can take a while for your body to acclimate to a new lifestyle.
