• Did anyone listen to the people in the Niger delta when when a BP, Shell and other oil companies regularly polluted the rivers, poisoned the environment. destroyed the eco system.? When the locals complained, they were arrested and jailed. Corruption investigations by the UN were suddenly dropped. Now BP is deep drilling for oil off the West African coast of Ghana with out regulation and conditions. Will Haliburton use the US military to invade the country on another pretext to feed America's addiction to oil. These environmental disasters have been happening all over the world and The Niger River Delta was the most extreme case of environmental abuse. This catrostophy in gulf is exactly what happens when big oil corporations greedily grab huge profits without a social responsibility. Mother Nature is unforgiving. at it's best and unrelenting at it's worst. We will all pay for this dearly. This is bigger than what they are revealing.
