TV does not report problems they invent them. There will be occasional problems with any medication or device just as there are occasional problems with spinach, lettuce, and drinking water. Catherization led to angioplasty led to stents led to different types of stents led to 'coated' stents and each has been an improvement on the previous but none are (nor will they ever be) perfect. That being said I worry that stent placement may be too common although the US strongly favors dramatic intervention over prevention.
