Is it normal to have bad gas after heart attack?

Gas, Heart Attack, Anxiety or ?

  • A few days ago i started getting these headaches. I would take a Tylenol and it would go away. But last night was scary I was watching a movie, relaxing and all of a sudden I got this sharp pain that went from my lower back up to my chest and shoulder and all around. The pain stayed on my left and from the back up through the shoulder. No where else. I could hardly breathe. I couldn't talk and say what was wrong because the pain was so intense. I could not move or breath deep and if I did even a little the pain would be sure to stop me. It brought tears to my eyes. I didn't go to the hospital because what would I do with my two children if my husband and I went. So I sat in tears and waited for the pain to go away. I felt weak and nauseous. My husband gave me a aspirin. I finally went to sleep. I am not 100% now but the pain is gone. Was that a case of bad gas, anxiety or a heart attack?

  • Answer:

It sounds very much like a heart attack and you need to have your heart evaluated to see if damage occurred. This is not something you want to ignore. good luck to you

Don't wait for a repeat. See your doctor and find out whats going on. Give your husband more credit....he can assist with the children.

It sounds pretty severe. You should at least call your famliy doctor for a visit. Something could be wrong. Your kids need their mom to be in good health so you can take care of them.

Go to see a doctor! It doesn't sound like gas or an anxiety attack, it might be nothing, but the symptoms a female gets during a heart attack are often very different from those a male has

The doctor or a hospital will tell you the answer to your question. Do not be foolish enough to rely on the advice of lay persons if you were so ill you had tears in your eyes, were weak and nauseous. Review your life style and life situation. Could it be gas? What have you been eating and drinking? Could it be anxiety? Anxiety causes serious pain. My husband used to suffer from panic attacks. He knows how to deal with it now and has changed his working environment to reduce the stress. He thought he was having a heart attack. We were at the emergency room seems like once a week, in the middle of the night. Do not take chances if you are in serious pain.
