Is my blood pressure considered low?

  • My classmates and I had my blood pressure measured yesterday. My current blood pressure is 101/56. I was the second lowest, the lowest is 95/?? Is that low or it normal for someone who has a small body frame.? I weigh about 91pounds, i eat and exercise regularly. i'm 17 yrs old.

    yea it is low. normal blood pressure is 120/80. although because of regular exercise and body size, you could be healthy. low blood is caused by low blood volume or hormonal changes. dont fret, your small frame is proportionate to your blood pressure. so you are healthy. however for your classmate who has 95, he/she has very low blood volume or that he/she is aneroxic.
