Problem of Tensile Stress?

Is this stress or a heart problem?

  • Hi, my sister is having problems, but not sure if it's stress or real heart issues. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. My sister has had some swelling in her face when she sleeps for a couple of years now. She has had a past history of panic and anxiety attacks and even anxiety seizures. But she knows when they are coming on, and she has learned to deal with them and they are now longer attacks. However, I have noticed she looks swollen in the mornngs and she has been complaining that it feels like her heart sticks and then beats again. Past four weeks she has been sick with a bad cold and cough. Last five days one of her legs were hurting real bad, like a charley horse, non-stop. Now both legs are aching her pretty bad. She is a smoker of 20 years, she's 40 years old and in excellent shape. She looks around 28, eats horribly but has exercercised everyday for the past 30 years. CHF runs in our family, should she see at doctor? Could this aching in her legs and faintness and swelling, , be signs of CHF or just stress? She's 5'7, 115 pounds. She walks 8 miles and 45-115 minutes of aerobics a day. She's in great shape so she shoudn't be having aching in her legs because she exercises, her body is used to it. Is this stress? Can stress make you swollen?
