What causes my vertigo combined with tachycardia?
-
I'm 25 and I went to a cardiologist a year ago because I had tachycardia problems and I was diagnosed with slight mitral valve prolapse. It's nothing dangerous though. My blood test 6 months ago was normal as well.Last week for 2 times,I started feeling out of nowhere tachycardia, vertigo and a heavy head. When I stood up I felt like I was about to faint and when I lied down I had a "falling" feeling.I did not drink or eat anything before this happens. This also happens when I have my period, but at that time it's normal because of the blood loss. But when there's no period, why are these symptoms caused. Are they dangerous?

Answer:
Spontaneous tachycardia with giddiness needs an ECG during the episode as well as a medical evaluation.
