Why do I randomly have shortness of breath?

Why shortness of breath while taking "Flecainide Acetate" for an irregular heartbeat?

• I have had an irregular heartbeat for a few years now and have never been held back by it as far as physical activity goes. I was told that it is not normal but nothing to worry about and i can take this medication Flecainide Acetate which should make the irregular beats happen less. I have before even taking this medication been short of breath and told the doctor that however after taking this medication for about 2 months now i noticed while im playing basketball or football i am feeling twice as short of breath as i was before i started taking this medication. I also was reading that it could make your urine's alkaline level raise. My urine i have noticed is really smelly and is bright yellow and im usually pretty hydrated so im confused. Is this shortness of breath common with this drug should i be worried about dying while playing basketball or football?
