I lost my job and insurance and am having weird symptoms.what are the symptoms of a heart attack?

you are male, you are 50, you are having pain and tingling down your right arm- you have met three criteria for heart problems already. You need to go to the ER now to get checked out. Don't worry about the bill- if you don't go you won't have anything to worry about again... other symptoms of heart problems are chest pain and heaviness- many people describe it as an elephant on their chest. dizziness, sweating, high blood pressure, back pain, abdominal pain- these are just a few. You really need to get checked. Many hospitals will even write it off as a charity case in the end if you really cannot pay. For right now though- take an aspirin- not tylenol or ibuprofen, but a 325mg aspirin- this will help thin the blood and can help prevent further damage.

You sounds more anxious. Most of your symptoms are of anxiety and stress related but if kept untreated for long may lead to cardiac problems. Better to see a doctor and get your anxiety treated. Dont worry much, keep faith. Job comes and go. there are people who have more serious problems. Keep smilling !

Not all heart attack symptoms are the same in everybody. Even though the hospital gives you a bill go anyway. What are they going to do? Get mad if you can't pay. Oh well to bad for them. When we are working and have insurance they get paid. You deserve help even if you have found yourself unemployed. Dont put it off. Also most areas have medical help for those who can not afford to pay. I'm talking non emergency care. Please check with you're local YWCA or YMCA, Church, these organizations can generally help you find medical help.

Sounds like stress , but... don't take any chances , i had different symptoms than what are usually reported, i had pains across the back of my shoulder blades, no tingling, no jaw pain no nothing else. So i thought it was just muscle pain, i was wrong, i had a heart attack, and had to have five bypass open heart surgery. I was 44 years old, my life was totally turned upside down. Please don't wait, go see a GOOD doctor and don't worry about the bill. Make small payments if you have to . I am in nursing and sometimes certain hospitals will just write the bill off, also ask about the Hill Burton Program, as they take care of your hospital bills if you qualify. And since you are not employed they should be able to help. GOOD LUCK. I wish you well.

it could just be anxiety. if you are not going to see a doctor try some meditation and breathing exersizes to relax.

if you were having a heart attack 3 months ago, then you would have figured that out by now. you can't cure yourself of a heart attack!!! it has got to be stress, but you won't know for sure until you go & see a much better doctor.

Go back to a doctor (try the emergency room) Be creative with info (hate to say it, but you need a diagnosis) BUT GO......................................… In life some times we have to do things we are not especially proud of.....but do what you have to do to live....Good Luck

could be panic attacks. A lot of doctors over look that condition. Has some of the same feelings as a heart attack.
