Is there a way to treat Hypoglycemia?

Reactive hypoglycemia: how do you treat it?

  • I have been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia I did a Glucose Tolerance Test and my BGs after ingesting the glucose solution spiked and then crashed after 90 minutes and reached 34 My Reactive Hypoglycemia is probably pre-diabetic as diabetes runs in my family. My pancreas overproduces insulin in response to carbs and this causes the low, but with time overproducing insulin will wear down my pancreas cells and I could become diabetic. Recurring daily symptoms that made my doctor think I needed to test for hypoglycemia are: sweating, spaciness, blurred vision, blurred speech, forgetfullness, vertigo, shaking, anxiety, irritability, confused thinking, brainfog, tiredness, exhaustation and night terror. I wonder if you could share with me what worked for you if you happen to have the same problem Thanks
