how can my mom's high blood pressure be lowered ? she is pregnant. is exercise good ? walking ? or what can help her lower her blood pressure and control it. such as foods that can be eaten. Thanks :)

The link below has the best information to lower blood pressure. Eating oatmeal lowers cholesterol but i am not sure how effective it is at lowering blood pressure. When a woman is pregnant and has high blood pressure she needs to work very closely with her Dr to get it under control. Often having the baby takes the blood pressure back to normal.

Avoid salt. Don't put on excess weight. Yea I'd walk. Forget soft drinks, and junk food--all crackers chips, buy veg without salt. Stay hydrated, get your sleep at night. Avoid stress. Meditation and prayer are so good. Pet your pet.
