-
I am working on prereqs for the RN program. I have a diet tech degree and love both fields. I want to work the 12 hour shifts at set days, only because I have a child and a baby on the way, thinking of the future. I want to be able to stay home durning most off the week, and take and pick them up from school go to school plays, etc. LATER though I wold like to work in a diabetes clinic. I love this field as well and have diabetes. as an rn how much can they make in the clinic? I think new grads make 25-30 in ca as an rn, but I dont know how much they make in a clinic for diabetes?

Answer:
A lot depends on what part of the country we're talking about. It could vary from under $20.00/hr in parts of Florida or Washington state, to well over $30.00/hr in Los Angeles or New York City.
