Unfortunately there's no cure for diabetes. If that is what you have. If you have type 1 diabetes, as my son does, you will need insulin. There are different options available to you. You can take insulin shots or you can have an insulin pump. Either, with Type 1 diabetes, you are insulin dependent. If it's type 2, it's a little different. There is still no cure with Type 2 diabetes. However at times, it can be manage with a change of diet, exercise, pills and insulin injection. That will be up to your doctor to determine what you need to be healthy. Diabetes is not the end of the world but it is life altering. type 2 or type 1 ? sadly, you cannot cure type 1 diabetes. with type 2 diabetes, losing weight, and EATING ONLY HEALTHY FOODS helps heal your diabetes. I don't really know about medicines. I think they make you worse. make sur eot diet right, and exercise 30-60mins. this is something serious. Diabetes isn't just like chicken pocks. this is life-threatening your only a few weeks with it,. so yo better start dieting, and exercising.

Diabetes is a disease and you don't "get rid" of it. You live with it and you take medicine for it to keep it under control. You didn't just get it as you were probably born with it. You must be seeing a doctor if you were diagnosed. Did the doctor tell you anything about the disease and how to live with it? I have type two once you get it your stuck. You can live with it, you have to make adjustments in your diet. you learn everything about it. It's the carbs that turn to sugar and you need to monitor it. I got it when I was 58 all that drinking, smoking, etc did me in I think if I got it young I wouldn't now have congestive heart failure and everything to go with it.
