What is glaucoma?

Is Glaucoma causing my terrible headaches? and what do you do if eyedrops dont work?

  • I was diagnosed with Glaucoma a few months ago and have been prescribed eye drops but still have been having terrible headaches. Is this caused by my Glaucoma, I have great pain in my eye sockets/eyebrow area mostly. It doesn't seem to be a side effect of the eyedrops and even on days when my eye pressure is ok I am still experiencing headaches often times. My doctor knows but I am looking for some relief. I've noticed I am very sensitive to light as well.

  • Answer:

I too have had glaucoma for the last several months. Yes headaches can be the result of having glaucoma. The eye doctor said the paid in my eyebrows was due to sinus infections. The sensitivity to light is also a problem I experience and I wear sunglasses over my regular eyeglasses which helps to some degree. I hope you find some relief for these problems.
