How can I get rid of hives?

• I woke up this morning with tiny pale red dots on my hands and arms, knees, elbows, and the back of my neck. They itch really bad. We think the cause is the antibiotics that I'm currently taking for my ear infection (that is now finally gone!) but we are going to call the doctor and see if I should still take it anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any remedies that I can use to heal my hives. Please be specific. I have to drive and observe today for driver's training and really don't want to be distracted from hives. Thanks!

  You have to be patient. I know these do work. However as life goes what works for one may not work for another. Have you tried benadryl? Might want to get the dye free type. It seems to work for most people. I remember years ago I took my kid to an all night pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what to do. They said to take the benadryl and take an oatmeal bath. After several hours the bumps went away. Aveeno bath also works. Also Caladryl clear lotion will also help. It would also be nice to know what exactly is triggering your hives so you can avoid it in the future. Hope it helps. Mot
