How to stop eyes being swollen through hay fever months? :(?

  • How to stop eyes being swollen through hay fever months? :( I wake up in the morning and my eyes are like golf balls and there really dry and sore I take hay fever tablets but nothing seems to be working :( HELP?!

    I no exactly how you feel!!! I suffered from this for three years everyday and no doctor gave me anything that helped. Iv'e just recently been to the skin specialist about this and he told me to take not one, but two zertec a day. One in the morning and one at night. My allergies are so severe that just one a day dosen't work. Ever since I've been doing this the swelling has completely gone away and I wake up in the morning feeling better than ever. Also for the dryness I use cetaphil moisturiser and also when my eyelids get red i rub on a bit of aloe vera gel. Really hope this helps!

Try an ophthalmic treatment. Start with an over the counter antihistamine eye drop, like Visine A. You can also ask the pharmacist at any drug store for help choosing something. If the OTC stuff doesn't help, see a doc. There are very effective prescription alternatives available. Hope it helps and you feel better soon!
