Am I allergic to bananas?

What foods can my son eat if allergic to Milk,Eggwhites,Wheat,Shellfish… and Bananas?

  • My Son will be turning 2 in two months. Since birth, he suffers from eczema and sever allergies. He is allergic to Wheat,Milk,Soybean,Shellfish,Eggwhites,P… and some fruits like Apples and Bananas. I have tried feeding him chicken and beef but he would get reaction from those too. The only meat he is able to eat without breaking out is turkey. He is also able to eat oatmeal, brown rice, pear, and black beans. There’s not much he could eat without getting a reaction. I NEED HELP. I need to know someone who is allergic to all the above and what types of food you or your child are able to eat.

  • Answer:

He is gluten and lactose intolerant. Take him off from wheat and milk altogether. You need to check him for coeliac (celiac) disease. See the links and also google "gluten intolerance" digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs… www.celiac.org/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coeliac_disease www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/glu… The medicine that can help you homeopathy is to start with one dose of Psorinum 1M and follow it up with Natrum Mur 30 and Pulsatilla 30. For lactose intolerance Aethusa 30 could help you alongwith Sepia 30. Sulphur is another medicine which will be useful in correcting the problem to large extent. Argentum Nitricum, Arsenicum Album etc. will be needed as per evolving symptoms. Take the child off from all food containing Wheat. Oatmeal also should be made sure that it does not contain wheat grains. Rice is safe. You can find plenty of sites where the food intake are discussed in detail. Please consult a doctor in these lines and also a homeopath for appropriate treatment which is curative, whereas conventional medicines and distancing from wheat and milk are only management. Apples promotes constipation and therefore gas(wind). Bananas directly promotes gas formation. Shell fish contains copper and deposits of copper in crude form in liver or in kidney can produce urticaria and rashes all over. The conclusion is that the assimilation, metabolism or disntegration in to fine particles for assimilation process in liver and related organs is effected and therefore the concommittent symptoms. Intolerance to Wheat causing Eczema - Psorinum Intolerance to wheat - Psorinum, Natrum Mur, Pulsatilla,Lycopodium Intolerance to Milk - Tuberculinum 200, Sulphur 200/1M, Natrum Mur, Lac Vaccinum Def 30, Sepia 30,Calcaria, China,Natrium Carb.Mag.Carb. Intolerance to Fruits - Arsenicum Album, Pulsatilla, Bryonia, China, Colocynthis. Intolerance to bread : Bryonia, Lycopodium, Natrum Mur, Pulsatilla, Sepia. I use the word "intolerance" against the word "allergy" as commonly used. With best wishes.

Hi. My baby is allergic to all the things you mentioned. I give my baby 100 % mangosteen juice with honey, and also add probiotic before she eats the food (one at a time) that I know she is NOT SEVERELY allergic to. After a while, her eczema and some hives are clearing up and she can eat most of the food that are listed. I still don't give nuts, peanuts and fish still. I still wait until 4 yrs old to give the eggs. I still have Benardryl and Epiphen ready

You should ask your doctor about these as any wrong suggestion can be really bad for your son.

You should also determine whether your son has a systemic candida infection. This often causes the symptoms you describe. Most doctors do not know how to treat it, though they are familiar with less severe types of yeast infections. So you will have to research it or find a good holistic physician. A good homeopath is also a good idea. You might take a look at Sally Rockwell's book "Allergy Recipes;" She describes a rotation diet which is useful to minimize the effects of food allergies.

Hi - try here: http://planetlactose.blogspot.com/2008/11/interactive-dairy-free-gluten-free-meal.html and here: http://www.ehow.com/how_4451958_eat-gluten-free-lactose-free.html Both spots are not fool proof and your pediatrician should be able to help with this more than the general public. Be safe! Good Luck!
