Can allergies cause a person to feel like the glands next to the throat are always swollen?

I know for a fact yes it can. What happens is the allergy is trying to cause an infection some where like the sinus's or ears. Please tell your doctor so he/she can get you on the right meds so you don't have to suffer anymore...
