Am I allergic to ants?

I've been allergic to ants all my life one bit me today and nothing happend why is that?

I have been allergic to ants all my life and the doctors found out when I was 2.After being rushed to the hospital.They gave me a shot every 2 years so if i get bit again it will leave a bump instead.After the bump is as big as it possibly can be my mom comes in when im sleep and pops with a pin i know it probably doesn't hurt as much as i would make it seem but im scared of it.So today i got bit by an ant sitting on a track because i run track.And it hurts as usual and nothing happend that whole week, I told my mom and she told the doctor and they didnt have a explanation.But that same week i got bit and it happend. Can someone plz give my a answer plz. :)

you out grew it or it wasnt an ant or your only allergic to a certain type of ant
