Home Remedies for Seasonal Allergies?

• I have extremely bad allergies from pollen! My eyes are all swollen and watery, and black underneath. My nose is always stuffed up or runny, sometimes both, no idea how. I sneeze about 100 times a day, and I just can't take it anymore! Do you guys have any home remedies for my allergies? I would prefer ones without all kinds of herbs and supplements. Any with normal kitchen items would be best. Thanks to everyone who gives kind answers!

  Do you have any idea which plant pollens you are allergic to? I am only allergic to grass pollen, which bothers me from late May until early July. I did not even realize what I was allergic to until I was an adult and could not stop sneezing in tall grass. I was even affected when an indoor palm plant started to go to seed (palm is in the grass family). Although, wildly growing prairie grass blowing in the eternal breeze of South Dakota did not bother me, when I went onto Ellsworth Air Force Base, the grass they planted there got to my nose and made the veins in my eyes swell up and look like road maps. While not a home remedy, something I have been using in recent years is NasalCrom. It builds up your resistance to allergies, so you react less to them, but it may take a few days to a week or two for it to be effective. It is not really a medicine, so it is non-drowsy, safe for 2 year old or use all year if necessary, and you can still take regular allergy medicines with it if you need to or it has not taken effect yet. In fact the first time I bought it, it came with some allergy tablets. I will check back here to see if anyone has an "effective" home remedy.
