What to you take for allergies?

What medicine can I take for really bad seasonal allergies that won't make me drowsy?

  • I'm 15 and every year my seasonal allergies seem to get worse. I've always taken Claritin, but it's barely been doing anything for me this year. I heard Zyrtec is great, but I also heard it makes you drowsy. Can someone recommend a good medication that won't make me drowsy? I don't care how expensive it is; these stupid allergies are killing me. thanks!

    I take an off brand of Claritin called AllerClear, which works better in my opinion, but anything with loratidine works well too. You might want to talk to your doctor and get a prescription for Rhinocourt (nasal spray) which is amazing.

Nasalcrom nasal spray will help your allergies and not make you drowsy at all. Cheaper at Wal Mart!

urmm... Well you could try Claritin. or Zrytec. I personally prefer Zryterc.

Claritin is really one of the best Over the counter medications that wont make you Drowsy. Zyrtec is good too but it can make you drowsy not always. There is a Claritin D that is located behind the Pharmacy counter and someone has to show an ID. You might try a small dose of Zyrtec on the weekend and see how it makes you feel. Good Luck!
