How to get rid of my fruit allergies?

I have fruit allergies, how can I still get a good daily intake of nutrients?

  • My oral birch allergy doesn't allow me to eat most varieties of fruit besides quite literally strawberries, bananas, blueberries and pinapple. Are there options besides taking vitamin pills?

If you're allergic to all fruits nutrients--such as vitamin C, D, potassium, calcium and so on, which I somewhat doubt--then the only way to get those vitamins is to take supplement capsules, on a daily basis. Taking vitamin supplements of any sort can't hurt, regardless of your personal situation. But how effective they will be depends entirely on your daily intake. (And that's the sort of thing that a general practitioner would know best; so I'd suggest that you consult him or her.)

Take some vitamins and do the Atkins diet. You'll be really surprised how good you'll feel when you quit eating carbs entirely. If you're having food allergies, the stuff that Atkins has you eat are the foods which DON'T seem to cause allergic reactions. Give it a few months. I bet you'll be very pleased with the result.

If you eat a wide variety of veggies, you should get all the vitamins that you need. In general, veggies have more vitamins-especially the dark green and other darkly colored ones.
