How can I get rid of post nasal drip that makes my throat congested?

  • I take Benadryl at night but then it dries my eyes up and they burn. What can I take or do that won't give me painful dry eyes?

    Try some of the OTC Claritin. Just make sure that you get plenty of water (no mater what type of antihistamine you use). The dry eyes is most likely due to the lack of water you are consuming. You need to drink 3000 mL of water when taking any type of antihistamine (that's 5 (20 oz) bottles of water a day).
