What does it mean when the inside of my ear itches?

What does it mean when your inner ear itches constantly?

• deep in my inner ear always itches and has been for months now. most of the time i shove my finger as far in my ear as i can and shake it as fast as i can but it doesnt really help much. at night i shove a Q-tip as far in my ear as possible and that relieves it but i can only do it for a few seconds then it starts to hurt and become sore. ive even resorted to sticking bobby pins in my ear and scrapping around for a little relief but that also causes soreness. the back of my throat also itches often and causes me to rub the back of my tongue on the roof of my throat but this causes the itching in my ears to worsen and causes sneezing. what should i do, im afraid im going to eventually damage my ears trying to get relief but its unbearable.
